1. Data Controller

SmartCut is a service of LEE TECHNOLOGY & SERVICE (HK) CO., LIMITED. For any inquiries regarding your personal data, you can contact us through our contact form.

2. Data We Collect

When you submit a top-up request or contact us, we only collect the data you provide:

  • Company or contact name
  • VAT / Tax ID
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address
  • Country
  • SmartCut machine serial number
  • Notes or messages you choose to include

3. Payment Data

SmartCut does not store, process, or have access to your bank card details.

All payments are processed through a certified and secure international payment gateway. Your card data is transmitted directly from your browser to the payment processor, encrypted via TLS. SmartCut only receives confirmation that the payment has been completed, along with a transaction identifier.

We do not store card numbers, CVV, expiry dates, or any other sensitive financial data.

4. Purpose of Processing

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Processing and managing your annual subscription top-up request
  • Communicating with you regarding your order
  • Sending you notifications about your top-up status
  • Responding to your inquiries through the contact form

5. Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on your explicit consent by checking the confirmation box in the top-up form, as well as on the performance of the contract of service you formalize when requesting the top-up.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal data as long as necessary for the purpose collected and the warranty period. Once the relationship ends, we may keep it blocked for applicable legal periods.

7. Data Transfers

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Only:

  • The payment gateway processes payment data directly (without us storing it).
  • Our hosting provider stores data securely on servers located in the European Union.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to any other company or entity.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a resident of the European Union, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data we process
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your data when no longer needed
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Port your data to another controller
  • Object to the processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form clearly stating which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days.
